Mona Sweater - Knitting Pattern (PDF)

$8.77 AUD (plus tax)

Mona is a cozy, oversized sweater made for everyday wear. It has a boxy fit with dropped shoulders. The bottom edge, cuffs and neckline are finished with folded hems, which give a clean, minimal look.

The sweater is knitted bottom-up. You knit the body in the round up to the armholes, then work the back and front separately. The sleeves are knitted in the round and sewn in. The construction is simple, and every step is explained clearly, so it’s a great project if you’re knitting your first sweater, and a relaxing knit if you’ve made a few before.

The pattern is written for a sweater in one colour, but Mona is the perfect canvas for playing with colours. The striped and checked sweaters in the photos are my own variations to inspire you. Instructions for these are not included in the pattern. Feel free to add stripes, mix colours or try something completely new.
